- 1 Snow fungus soaked for 30 mins
- 2 medium Apples washed thoroughly
- 6-8 cups Filtered water
- Optional: a handful Dang Shen a handful bitter almonds
Tear soaked snow fungus into 1 inch pieces, cut out and discard hard yellow parts
Core the apple and cut apple into wedges
Place snow fungus and apple wedges into slow cooker or instant pot insert.
Add filtered water and optional ingredients. Cook on low for 4 hours for slow cooker and 2-5 min for instant pot
Serve straight up or with sweetener of choice
