Ingredients

  • 1 Snow fungus soaked for 30 mins⁠
  • 2 medium Apples washed thoroughly⁠
  • 6-8 cups Filtered water⁠
  • Optional: a handful Dang Shen a handful bitter almonds⁠

Instructions

  • Tear soaked snow fungus into 1 inch pieces, cut out and discard hard yellow parts⁠
  • Core the apple and cut apple into wedges⁠
  • Place snow fungus and apple wedges into slow cooker or instant pot insert. ⁠
  • Add filtered water and optional ingredients. Cook on low for 4 hours for slow cooker and 2-5 min for instant pot⁠
  • Serve straight up or with sweetener of choice⁠
